A Spectator has a free choice of four different menus from which to select his meal. They can choose from – Traditional, Vegetarian, Healthy or Fast Food - one course from each menu. When the costs of the four courses are totalled they match the prediction which has been on the table from the start of the effect.

This is particularly topical at the moment with all the debate about obesity and the content of school dinners
