After a prediction is placed face down on the table, a pack of cards is held face up and the Spectator asked to cut off less than 12 without anyone knowing how many they have.

The next 12 cards are dealt from the pack into a clock face. The Spectator counts how many cards they have and the card at that number on the clock face is to be the selected one.

The Magician explains that the cards are from various Las Vegas Casinos. The chosen card is turned face down and is seen to be from The Mirage (for example). When the prediction is revealed it says 'The selected card will not be from The Golden Nugget (for example)'.

Whilst this is correct the audience are not impressed until all the cards are turned face down and they see that they are all from the Golden Nugget except the chosen one.
